Heat Friendly Synthetic Hair

“NEW” Heat-friendly Synthetic Hair Fiber TOTALLY STYLABLE!

The heat friendly synthetic hair fiber lets you style it wavy or straight — any way you like.

Do not curl or straighten any heat friendly synthetic hair while wearing the wig. It’s recommended to use only thermal styling tools. The temperature for most heat friendly wigs to curl or straighten the fiber is 116 degrees Celsius or 240 to 270 degrees Fahrenheit. You can use electric or steam hot rollers to curl the hair. Blow dryers, curling irons, and other thermal tools may be used on low settings up to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The fiber will get too hot and may scorch if the setting is too high.

When straightening the heat friendly synthetic hair with a flat iron. Take a one-inch section of hair and, starting at the roots, run the flat iron over the hair to the ends. Continue this procedure until all the hair is straightened to your liking.
When curling the heat friendly synthetic hair with a curling iron. Take a one-inch section of hair and, wrap the hair around the iron, hold for 10 to 15 seconds, carefully slide the curled fiber off the iron and, while holding the warm curl in place, pin it with a clip until the fiber cools, and the curl sets. Once the fiber is cool, remove the hair clips and style as desired.

We do not recommend curling or straightening the hair while wearing. Help protect the heat friendly fiber by using a Heat Treat Thermal Spray when using heat styling tools. Some of the detanglers, leave-in conditioners also help when using heat styling tools. We suggest you read the bottle to see if this can be used for this type of styling.

I’ve attached a couple of links from the manufacturers to help give you better tips on how to care for your heat friendly wigs.
